Château Puygueraud 2024 – Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is nicely fruity, ripe and offers a certain light concentration. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, small fleshy/pulpy fruits and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of blue plum, as well as hints of small roasted-juicy fruits, cornflower, bergamot and a floral hint of saffron. The palate is well-built, fruity, it offers freshness, juiciness, a tangy frame, precision, brilliance, definition and maturity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of roasted-juicy red cherry, pulpy cassis and small notes of roasted raspberry, combined with touches of lilac, cornflower, star anise and iodine. Good length. Nice substance and texture. Freshness and minerality. The tannins are mellow, iodized and finely creamy.
