The nose expresses notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, licorice, pine needles, a hint of vanilla, mint and blackcurrant leaf and dry black tea, as well as violet, a touch of minerality and a hint of pepper. The palate is airy, enveloping, with flavors of juicy ripe fruit (morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry), dried mint, pepper, pine needles. Good bitterness on the finish with a gourmet hint of chocolate. The tannins are fine, well-built. A pleasant and juicy wine.
