(53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot) Lovely, fruity, elegant, airy creamy nose and offers lovely definition, airy richness and depth. There are notes of creamy cassis, fresh boysenberry and small notes of small ripe/fresh wild red fruits, associated with touches of violet, iodine, as well as a hint of Timut pepper, smoke and a subtle hint of saffron (on the floral side). The palate is well-built and offers suppleness, juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, energy, good definition and brilliance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of brilliant cassis, violet and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of lilac, small wild red fruits, as well as a hint of almost rhubarb, discreet hints of fresh flowers and a subtle hint of almost iris. The tannins are mellow and gourmand. Good length. A fine hint of chocolate in the background. Good persistence.
