Château Lestage 2024 – Listrac-Médoc

The nose is aromatic, offering fine concentration, a certain intensity and a lovely finesse and intensity of fruit. It reveals notes of boysenberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of bigarreau cherry, associated with hints of cornflower, star anise, as well as a subtle hint of toast/vanilla and cubeb pepper. The palate is juicy, fruity and mineral, its offers a tangy frame, brightness, pulpiness and substance. The fruit is explosive on the palate/gourmand and fleshy just right. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, cassis and small notes of brilliant cherry, associated with touches of bright cranberry, as well as hints of tobacco, toast, tonka bean, almond and a subtle hint of toast. Good length. Fine hints of small blue/cornflower fruits in the background and beautiful mineral hints.
