Château Laroche 2024 – Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is aromatic, juicy, even a bit sweet. It expresses notes of ripe strawberry, juicy morello cherry, crushed raspberry, red plum and black plum, combined with notes of blackberry, peony, liquorice and a very light touch of toast and chocolate. The palate offers a chiseled, tangy and slightly bitter attack (flavors of red cherry and cranberry). It then expresses notes of red plum, black plum, crushed raspberry, as well as blackcurrant, blackcurrant bud, liquorice and toast in the background. The tannins are integrated and not drying. The finish is tangy and salivating, with a good bitterness, accompanied by flavors of red cherry and peony.
