Château La Prade 2024 – Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux

(65% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc) The nose is frank, fresh and offers a lovely graphene side, good definition and a spicy side. It reveals notes of violet, nutmeg and small notes of graphene, associated with touches of violet plum, juicy blackberry and small notes of bergamot/infusion. A subtle floral hint in the background. The palate is well-built, supple, juicy, fresh and offers brightness and a lovely brilliance of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of brilliant cherry, pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright/juicy cassis, combined with touches of lilac, bergamot, and a subtle, almost sappy hint in the background. Good length. The tannins offer a fine chewiness. A subtle floral hint on the persistence.
