Château Fonréaud 2024 – Listrac-Médoc

The nose is precise, elegant, quite aromatic and offers a certain depth. It reveals notes of wild raspberry, blackberry and small notes of fresh flowers, associated with touches of strawberry, as well as a hint of saffron (on the floral side), sweet spices, a hint of almost minty/peppery and discreet toasty hints. On the palate, the wine is well-built, juicy and offers a certain pulpiness, control, fine straightness, lace and a lovely stretch side in delicacy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, fleshy cassis and small notes of small bright red fruits, associated with touches of bergamot, cherry blossom, as well as a hint of chocolate and toast. The tannins are sapid. Slight toastiness and toasted almond on the finish/persistence. Slight darkness and cocoa nibs side on the finish/a hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
