Château de Respide – Callipyge 2024 – Graves

The nose is well-built, precise and frank. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, cassis and small notes of black cherry, associated with touches of violet, as well as fine hints of lilac, Madagascar pepper and clove. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh and mineral, it offers a little fatness with freshness, delicacy and a racy side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, violet plum and small notes of wild raspberry, associated with touches of tobacco, camphor, as well as hints of small concentrated blue fruits, vanilla and sweet tobacco. Good length. Fine suavity and minerality. A hint of iodine on the persistence.
