The nose is fruity, precise and offers fine complexity and a racy side. It reveals notes of boysenberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of violet plum, associated with fine touches of crushed wild strawberry, as well as fine hints of tobacco, lilac, cypress and sweet pepper. The palate is beautifully juicy, brilliant, offering fruit, definition, precision and mellowness/pulpiness of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy red cherry, tangy/juicy violet plum and small notes of bright cassis, associated with touches of star anise, sweet blond tobacco as well as fine hints of cornflower. The tannins are precise, mellow and silky. Nice little chewiness in the background.
