Château Croix du Trale 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is elegant, offering fine concentration, a little mellowness, a spicy side in finesse and delicacy in its intensity. It reveals notes of bigarreau cherry, crushed blackberry and small notes of brilliant strawberry, associated with touches of violet, cornflower, star anise, as well as fine hints of black pepper and discreet hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, supple and offers a certain gourmandise and purity of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy strawberry, small fleshy red berries, associated with touches of juicy cassis, as well as a hint of rhubarb, toastiness, blond tobacco, a discreet hint of vanilla and fresh hazelnut in the background. A hint of sappy on the finish/persistence.
