Château Cos Labory 2024 – Saint-Estèphe, Cru Classé

Château Cos Labory 2024 – Saint-Estèphe, Cru Classé

The nose is beautifully fruity, fresh, it offers airy minerality, delicacy and unfolding slowly and elegantly. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, black cherry and small notes of graphene, associated with touches of bright cranberry, as well as fine hints of fresh flowers, almost warm sap/pine needle and a discreet hint of cardamom and anise. The palate is well-built, supple, velvety, it offers tension, precision, energy and a velvety, gourmand side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, creamy wild raspberry and small notes of small wild red berries, combined with touches of cardamom, a hint of camphor, a hint of sappy, fine hints of small fresh/juicy blue fruits, as well as a hint of racy gravel and fresh sweet pepper. Good length. A wine offering lovely delicacy and an airy velvetiness.
