Château Caroline 2024 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose is beautifully fruity, aromatic and offers a certain complexity and elegant darkness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of small roasted-bright red berries and cornflower, associated with touches of lily, tonka bean, racy minerality and a subtle, almost smoky hint. The palate is juicy, fruity, suave, gourmand and offers a lovely bright and brilliance of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cherry and small notes of blueberry, associated with touches of small fresh/juicy red berries, as well as fine hints of almost blueberry, lilac, blond tobacco and racy minerality. Good length. The tannins offer a nice chewiness on the finish/persistence. A iodine side and a subtle hint of almost blood orange in the background.
