Château Branas Grand Poujeaux 2024 – Moulis-en-Médoc

Château Branas Grand Poujeaux 2024 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose is nicely fruity, fresh, precise, it offers lovely ripeness, good definition and freshness. It also presents a certain aromatic concentration in freshness, an infusion side and finesse. It reveals notes of bigarreau cherry, brilliant cassis and small notes of crushed strawberry charlotte, associated with touches of lilac, cornflower, as well as fine hints of nutmeg, small creamy fruits, a discreet hint of chocolate, elegance and a bourbon vanilla pod. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, gourmand, unctuous in freshness, it offers finesse, a lovely texture, a 3D side, a lovely substance, gourmandise and a mellow mid-palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, brilliant red cherry and small notes of small red fruits, almost roasted-elegant, combined with touches of licorice stick, chocolate, as well as fine hints of vanilla. Lovely finesse in its creaminess and an airy character. A subtle hint of saffron in the floral side background. Good length. Gourmandise, with a hint of iodized in the background.
