Les Perrières 2024 – Bordeaux Supérieur

A pretty, elegant, spicy, aromatic nose that offers complexity, velvety depth, freshness and a certain intensity. There are notes of pulpy cassis and small ripe/fresh wild red berries, associated with touches of clove, nutmeg, fine hints of cornflower, star anise, as well as a hint of tonka bean and a very discreet hint of clove. The palate is beautifully silky, gourmand, melodious, fresh and offers energy, brilliance and brightness. Subtlety and finesse in its grain. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of brilliant cassis, brilliant blueberry and small notes of brilliant/juicy cherry, combined with touches of small juicy/tangy red berries, sweet tobacco, lilac, as well as a hint of bergamot and a subtle hint of almost juicy mandarin in the background. The tannins are velvety and juicy. Nice energy and acidity. Lovely spicy finish.
