The nose is fruity and offers aromatic elegance, a certain fullness and a broad palette. It reveals notes of violet, fairly ripe cassis, fresh blackberry and small notes of small brilliant blue fruits, associated with touches of almost roasted-elegant strawberry, as well as a discreet hint of star anise, blond tobacco and a hint of almond. The palate is well-buit, supple, juicy and nicely tangy, it offers gourmandise, aromatic, tension and a little mellowness on the mid-palate. The palate is beautifully sapid. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis and small notes of small bright blue fruits, combined with touches of fleshy/juicy cherry, as well as hints of tonka bean, toasted, a hint of fresh almond, fresh flowers and a subtle mineral hint. The tannins are precise and mellow. Nicely precise, dense, juicy, fresh and gourmand.
