Château Fourcas Hosten 2024 – Bordeaux Blanc

(Organic) The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a certain complexity, purity and a certain intensity in delicacy. It reveals notes of pulpy yellow apple, bright yellow peach and small notes of quince, associated with touches of lemony verbena, small creamy white fruits, racy minerality, as well as a subtle hint of smoke. The palate is well-built, juicy, brightness, it offers superb energy, definition, precision, harmony, subtlety and purity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, Amalfi lemon and small notes of crunchy vine peach, combined with touches of fleshy/juicy apple, crunchy pineapple, lilac, lemon blossom, as well as a hint of fresh apricot. Good length. Fine iodized hints and a very discreet, almost sappy, toasted touch in the background. A great success.
