The nose is fruit-driven, it offers lovely fruit, fleshiness, beautiful texture and a 3D side. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and small notes of fleshy strawberry, associated with touches of nutmeg, as well as a hint of small fleshy fruits, graphene and fresh hazelnut. The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity, it offers a chiselled, textured side and a discreetly tight tannic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, violet and small notes of juicy/fresh raspberry, combined with touches of juicy cherry, as well as hints of cornflower, star anise, fine hints of racy minerality, and a hint of graphene and tonka bean. A saline/iodized hint on the finish/persistence. Good length. The tannins are mellow, offering a mellow, iodized mid-palate. A fine hint of sappy in the background as a guideline. Good persistence.
