The nose is fresh, racy (a gravelly side) and offers fruit and energy. There are notes of pulpy cassis, wild cherry and small notes of red pepper, associated with touches of small fresh wild red fruits, camphor, spices and fine hints of star anise. The palate is nicely fruity, balanced and offers good energy, straightness, good definition, a certain brilliance of fruit, a pretty floral side and a discreetly tight, airy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, cornflower and small notes of small fresh blue fruits, combined with touches of small ripe/fresh red berries, as well as hints of smoke, sweet tobacco and a hint of racy minerality and cocoa. Good length. The persistence is sapid and tangy. Coating, generous side and easily accessible.
