Clos du Marquis 2024 – Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity, it offers fine intensity, fine power, fine grain, precise, quite intense and discreetly tight. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and sweet pepper, associated with touches of lilac, fine hints of small concentrated red berries, as well as subtle, almost spicy hints and a discreet note of cubeb pepper. The palate is mineral, fresh and offers a little tension and a finely tight tannic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, violet and small notes of racy minerality, combined with touches of crunchy strawberry, as well as hints of toastiness and subtle touches of roasting.
