The nose is fruity, floral, elegant, airy and offers a lovely finesse of grain, intensity of finesse, precision and a lovely 3-dimensional/multilayered side. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of small brilliant blue fruits, associated with touches of racy/terroir minerality, fine hints of flowers, as well as a hint of cinnamon and spices. The palate is fruity, balanced, chiselled, racy and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, suppleness, freshness, lovely definition, energy and tension. A fine, coating side, but still fresh. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of small brilliant/fresh red berries, combined with touches of gunflint/racy gravel, as well as hints of small brilliant red fruits, a hint of bright Charlotte strawberry, a discreet hint of toastiness and tobacco. Good length. Nice little chewiness on the finish. A nice Bigarreau cherry side.
