Château Beychevelle 2024 – Saint-Julien, Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity and a lovely sweet pepper side. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild black fruits and small notes of camphor, associated with fine touches of gray pepper, sap, discreet hints of lily, lilac, as well as a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, it offers freshness, minerality, a fresh, tangy frame, a little tension and precision. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, juicy/fresh blackberry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of small red berries, lily, lilac, as well as fine hints of racy minerality, fleshy plum, sap, smoke and a hint of camphor. Good length. Freshness and minerality. The tannins are sappy, tasty and offer a little mellowness and chewiness in the background.
