(68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot, 1% Carménère) The nose is elegant, delicate, fresh, ample, velvety and offers aromatic complexity (and depth) as well as a fine, elegant austerity. Lovely finesse in its grain. There are notes of pulpy black cherry, wild strawberry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of small bright red fruits, as well as hints of cubeb pepper, camphor, cocoa nibs, nutmeg and discreet hints of lilac/cornflower. The palate is well-built, delicate, airy and offers lovely energy, acidity/acidulous, energy and a fine vibrant side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, cornflower and small notes of crushed raspberry, combined with touches of pulpy violet plum, fresh cherry, lilac, chocolate, as well as fine hints of infusion, bergamot and a delicate gravelly, iodized hint. The tannins are well-built, mellow, precise and offer a fine chewiness. Good length. Lovely mellowness and salinity on the midpalate. A lovely poetic wine, fresh, tangy and vibrant.
