Brio de Cantenac Brown 2024 – Margaux

Brio de Cantenac Brown 2024 – Margaux

(69% merlot, 31% cabernet sauvignon) Lovely fruity nose, frank, spicy, that offers good definition, nice grain and spices. The nose is marked by fairly ripe red fruit. There are notes of fairly ripe/fleshy red cherry, violet and small notes of small concentrated blue fruits, associated with touches of crushed strawberry, as well as pretty hints of spices, star anise, infusion, a hint of smoke and sweet pepper. Fruit flirts discreetly with the roast-elegant. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers brilliance, gourmandise and accuracy. A lovely mid-palate. A lovely delicate, velvety/fresh touch. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, violet and small notes of roasted-elegant cherry, combined with touches of small fairly ripe red fruits, small brilliant fruits, as well as hints of chocolate and cornflower.
