Aurore de Dauzac 2024 – Margaux

Aurore de Dauzac 2024 – Margaux

(70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 12% Petit Verdot) The nose is frank, spicy, racy and offers a fine, finely tight grain. An airy side in its relative power. There are notes of wild blackberry, violet and small notes of sweet spices, associated with touches of small fresh fruits, a hint of varietal, as well as a subtle hint of iris, saffron (on the floral side), red pepper and licorice stick. The palate is well-built, balanced and offers suppleness, freshness, good definition, precision, freshness, minerality, a little fat and a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, violet and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of small fresh red berries, as well as hints of lilac, racy gravel and a hint of star anise. Good length.
