Prélude à Grand Puy-Ducasse 2024 – Pauillac

The nose is fresh, fruity, mineral and offers a chiselled side. It reveals notes of fresh boysenberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of infusion in freshness, associated with touches of lilac, a fine mineral hint, sweet spices, sweet pepper, as well as a hint of maceron. The palate is fruity, it offers minerality, freshness, good definition, juiciness, tension, energy and a certain straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cherry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of small crunchy/juicy red fruits, as well as hints of star anise and fresh blond tobacco. Good length. Nice substance, energy and a chiselled side.
