(89.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10.7% Merlot, 0.1% Petit Verdot) Lovely, fruity nose, that offers a little creaminess, minerality, nice grain, good definition, a floral side and some aromatic depth. There are notes of crushed cassis, dense/concentrated blackberry and small notes of small wild fruits, associated with touches of aromatic herbs, infusion, as well as fine hints of cornflower, fresh blueberry and a hint of smoke and graphene. A very discreet hint of saffron (on the floral side) after aeration. The palate is fruity, chiselled, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, acidity, energy, a tangy frame, good definition, a graphene side, a mellow structure and a certain aromatic depth. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of ripe wild cassis, small dense/juicy black berries and small notes of small fresh red berries, combined with an almost cranberry touch, hints of tonka bean, nutmeg, smoke, as well as a subtle hint of lilac and racy minerality. The tannins are fresh and finely sappy. Good length.
