Les Tourelles de Pichon Baron 2024 – Pauillac

Lovely floral nose offering fruit, spices, a certain depth and finesse in its relative intensity. There are notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of Bigarreau cherry, associated with fine touches of Cubèbe pepper, a hint of clove and a discreet hint of peony. The palate is well-built, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, tension, precision, suppleness and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of pulpy/fresh Bigarreau cherry, as well as hints of racy minerality, a hint of tonka bean, toastiness and cocoa. Good length. Fine, elegant austerity on the finish.
