(65.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25.5% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot) The nose is fruity, floral, delicate, precise, mineral, spicy, peppery, frank and offers a certain velvetiness in its power as well as a lovely racy, frank, straight and precise grain. There are notes of wild blackberry, infusion and small notes of small ripe wild red fruits, associated with touches of pulpy strawberry, cornflower, lily, as well as hints of fresh spices and a hint of fresh Sichuan pepper. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, lovely relief, a certain energy and gourmandise. A lovely racy/grave side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, violet and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of tangy/crunchy red berries, hints of cornflower, crunchy cherry, cocoa nibs and racy minerality. Finely chalky tannins. Chalky, tangy persistence. Persistence with a subtle hint of sappy.
