The nose is aromatic and offers a lovely intensity of grain, velvety and a certain complexity. It reveals notes of boysenberry, bright wild strawberry and small notes of cassis, associated with touches of crushed/sweet cranberry, as well as a hint of violet/lilac, racy minerality, cardamom and a hint of toasted. The palate is beautifully fruity, juicy, mineral, fresh, it offers harmony, roundness and a certain fatness in balance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, cherry and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of violet, pulpy cherry, as well as hints of cherry blossom, racy minerality, cocoa nibs, toast and toasted almond. Good length. A subtle, almost coffee-like hint in the background.
