Château Lynch-Bages 2024 – Pauillac, Cru Classé

(70% CS, 24% M, 3%CF, 3%PV) The nose is pretty, fruity, fresh, elegant, racy, it offers racy minerality, a stretched side and a floral hint. It reveals notes of fresh cherry, racy minerality and small notes of sweet pepper, associated with touches of cornflower, as well as fine hints of small roasted-elegant fruits, a hint of sappy and a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is well-built, fresh, supple and gourmand. It offers a mellow side, a nice relief, a nice depth in the aromatic/ aromatic density, a nice sustained mid-palate and a nice freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe/juicy red cherry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of fresh raspberry, combined with touches of juicy/pulpy violet plum, as well as hints of fresh flowers, chocolate, toast, star anise/eucalyptus, tobacco and a hint of crushed almond. Good length. A wine offering chewiness and gourmandise. Mellow tannins.
