Château Grand Puy-Lacoste 2024 – Pauillac; Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, relatively discreet and offers a fine textured and a fine graphene side. It reveals notes of blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of small fleshy red fruits, associated with fine hints of fresh hazelnut, flowers, as well as a hint of star anise. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh and offers a little concentration, fruit and a fine racy side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of violet, combined with touches of pulpy red cherry, hints of creamy/fresh blackberry, touches of lilac, fine hints of star anise/licorice stick, as well as fine hints of toastiness, hazelnut and chocolate. Good length. A wine offering a certain gourmandise, mellowness and a tangy, gourmand persistence.
