Domaine de la Bégude 2023 – AOC Bandol

The wine has a beautiful pinkish, almost pale blood orange color. The initial nose is intense, mineral, and smoky, with notes of fruits such as strawberry, juicy cherry, and blackberry, as well as fresh pomegranate. The second nose opens with a slight intensity and a hint of iodine. We find berries with a vegetal touch of herbs. The palate is fresh, tangy on the attack with notes of fruits such as blackberry and dried blueberry. There is also a good mineral freshness, a little smoky. Depth and texture. The finish of the tasting is on fresh pomegranate and a hint of bitterness from the blackberry skin.
