Le Clarence de Haut-Brion 2024 – Pessac-Léognan

Le Clarence de Haut-Brion 2024 – Pessac-Léognan

A lovely, racy, frank nose that offers depth, good definition and precision. There are notes of wild cassis, graphene and small notes of Madagascar pepper, associated with touches of cornflower, small fresh flowers, as well as fine hints of dry gravel, smoke, infusion and sappy. The palate is well-built, fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, juiciness, energy and a vibrant, chiselled side. A fine, coating side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, crunchy cassis and small notes of fresh flowers, combined with a hint of small fresh red fruits, fine hints of toasted, cocoa, cornflower and a discreet hint of cocoa nibs. The tannins are fresh, precise and finely chalky.
