ESPRIT DE CHEVALIER 2024 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is aromatic, airy and offers a certain airy intensity/power. It reveals notes of boysenberry, and small notes of violet, associated with touches of small brilliant red fruits, a hint of blue plum, crushed raspberry, as well as discreet hints of lilac, flowery red pepper/cubeb and discreet aniseed hints. The palate is well-built, fruity, it offers good definition, precision, minerality, suppleness and a fine fluidity on the mid-palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy cassis, small crunchy fruits and small notes of fresh flowers, combined with touches of small crunchy red berries, as well as fine hints of lilac, crunchy cherry, a fine almost pine-needle hint and hints of toasted almond. Good length. A fine infusion side in the background.
