The nose offers gourmandise, a nice density in freshness and notes of ripe fruit, combined with a jammy side. It expresses aromas of crushed apricot, a hint of roasted apricot with thyme and honey, lemon jam, candied blood orange and crushed yellow peach. There is also a hint of yellow apple, vanilla, toasted hazelnut and a sweet touch of white flowers (apple blossom, acacia) and fresh honey. The palate is fresh and pleasant: it offers a beautiful balance between sweetness and acidity, which persists on the finish in flavors of candied lime peel, combined with a good bitterness of grapefruit jam and blood orange. We also find flavors of chestnut honey, vanilla, roasted apricot, crushed yellow peach and peach in syrup, combined with notes of candied pineapple, pastry and lemon curd. Beautiful persistence and mouth-watering acidity. A harmonious and complex wine, with a lovely freshness.
