Enclos de Viaud 2024 – Lalande de Pomerol

The nose is fruity, with a certain fine intensity of fruit, and a fine delicacy. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and, more lightly, small bright red fruits, associated with touches of lilac, nutmeg and a discreet hint of crushed cassis. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, with a certain tension, energy and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis, and more lightly of violet, combined with touches of lilac. There are also fine notes of racy minerality and a discreet hint of sappy in the background. Good length. A fine hint of iodine/saline. Fine, mellow tannins. A wine with freshness.
