Château Haut Surget 2024 – Lalande de Pomerol

The nose is fruity and offers fine complexity, fruit and some spices. It reveals notes of unctuous wild blackberry, cornflower and small notes of crushed cherry, associated with touches of small fruits, as well as fine hints of nutmeg, lilac and fresh spices. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, it offers a certain creaminess, substance, gourmandise, relief and sapidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy/juicy cassis, brilliant blueberry and small notes of brilliant cherry, combined with touches of lily, lilac, as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco and racy minerality. Discreetly marked tannins. Good length. A hint of cocoa nib in the background. Good persistence.
