The nose is aromatic, fresh, with a certain aromatic depth and some spices. It reveals notes of boysenberry, fairly ripe wild strawberry and, more lightly, violet, associated with touches of small red fruits almost flirting with elegant roast. There are notes of Timut pepper, fine floral hints, spices (an airy side), a discreet hint of cardamom, saffron on the floral side, as well as a hint of almost ripe/fresh orange. The palate is well-built, fresh, elegant, with a lovely, enveloping, gourmand fatness, offering airiness, delicacy and precision. It expresses notes of pulpy cassis, brilliant blackberry and, more lightly, brilliant raspberry, combined with touches of small crushed red fruits, as well as hints of star anise, toast and chocolate. Good length. Beautiful freshness, roundness, delicacy and precision. A gourmand wine, with a subtle hint of good varietal bitterness in the background. Good persistence.
