Enclos Tourmaline 2024 – Pomerol

The nose is floral, with fresh, even finely crunchy fruit and good definition. It’s also elegant, harmonious, with a certain aromatic depth, elegance, lovely definition and a hint of infusion. It reveals notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, lilac, and more lightly violet, associated with touches of pulpy cherry, as well as fine hints of small brilliant fruits, subtle hints of lily and a discreet, almost bergamot-like hint. The palate is fruity, with freshness, minerality, a fresh frame and a chiselled/crystalline side. It also offers a lovely juiciness, fruitiness, brightness, aromatic depth and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, bigarreau cherry, juicy/fresh cassis, and more lightly small concentrated/fresh black berry, combined with touches of lilac, violet, as well as hints of tonka bean and chocolate. There are also fine hints of rose, violet, black tea, a hint of bergamot, as well as a fine hint of racy minerality, a subtle touch of rose and a very discreet hint of almost fresh blond tobacco. Good length. Energy and persistence. Lovely racy minerality. Nice salinity on the finish. Mellow, gourmand tannins.
