Clos de la Vieille Eglise 2024 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers an envelopping side. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, bourbon vanilla and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of crushed cherry, as well as hints of lily, lilac and toastiness. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh and offers minerality, a chiselled side and a fresh frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of vanilla, combined with touches of toasted hazelnut, fine floral hints, small pulpy fruits, as well as fine hints of lilac and cardamom. The tannins are mellow and offer a certain chewiness on the finish/persistence.
