The nose is beautifully elegant, delicate, toasted, vanilla, coating and subtle, offering plenitude. It presents a lovely silkiness, finesse and breed of grain, and opens slowly. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, bright violet plum and small notes of crushed redcurrant and juicy/pulpy cassis, associated with a touch of cranberry, lily, delicate hints of sweet pepper, a subtle, almost imperceptible hint of blood orange in the background, sweet, delicate spices, cinnamon, as well as notes of clove and sweet tobacco. The palate is fruity, fresh, it offers wine offers minerality, a mineral and tangy frame, precision, a certain roundness, suppleness and a little fat. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, small brilliant red fruits and small notes of violet plum, combined with touches of cocoa nibs, chocolate and toastiness, as well as hints of small brilliant red fruits, crushed/sweet cranberry and fine hints of racy minerality, graphene and toastiness. The tannins are toasted, mellow and gourmand. A lovely finish that oscillates between very fine firmness and fine chewiness, offering fine, elegant darkness, roundness with suppleness and delicacy. A mineral wine.
