Château Bonalgue 2024 – Pomerol

Château Bonalgue 2024 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers intensity, fine breadth and discreet hints of sweet spices. There are notes of fresh wild cassis, nutmeg and small notes of flowers (cherry blossom, peony, lily), associated with touches of fresh blue fruit, discreet hints of fresh spices, Bigarreau cherry, as well as a hint of almost sweet pepper and an imperceptible, almost varietal hint (which lifts and stretches). The palate is well-built, supple, delicate, well-balanced and offers roundness and a tangy frame. A fresh, delicate and airy fatness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, small juicy/fresh blue fruits, combined with touches of cranberry, small fresh/juicy red fruits, as well as hints of lilac, nutmeg and fine hints of cardamom. The tannins are ellow, sapid and fresh. Good length. Freshness, suppleness and minerality.
