Château Franc Baudron – Authentique 2024 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity, floral, well-built and offers fine aromatic concentration, freshness and tension. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, fresh flowers (violet, fresh lilac, a hint of primrose), associated with touches of fresh cassis, as well as discreet hints of small fresh berries and a darkness side in freshness. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, it offers a tangy frame, a sappy/stretched character, energy, freshness and a vibrant side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, small crunchy fruits and small notes of fresh flowers (lilac, peony), combined with touches of juicy/fresh wild cherry, as well as fine hints of fresh tobacco and fresh cocoa. Good length.
