CHÂTEAU BERNON BECOT 2024 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

The nose is spicy and offers a certain concentration and a slightly tight grain. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of cubeb pepper, associated with touches of small bright wild fruits, as well as a hint of sweet tobacco. The palate is well-built, fresh and fruity. It offers gourmandise, a tangy frame, a certain fatness/roundness and a little pulpiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright raspberry, brilliant blueberry and small notes of small bright fruits, combined with touches of chocolate (mid-palate), vanilla, as well as fine hints of iodized/saline in the background. Good length. The tannins are mellow and gourmand.
