Clos l’Oratoire 2024 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

Clos l’Oratoire 2024 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

(80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc) The nose is well-built, elegant, airy and offers complexity. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and small notes of small fresh blue berries, associated with touches of juniper berries and a fine hint of infusion. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, mineral, it offers lovely energy, a tangy frame, gourmandise, precision, silkiness, a certain brilliance and a stretch side. Very nice freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of brilliant/juicy cassis, small brilliant/bright blue fruits and small notes of fresh blackberry, as well as hints of small roasted-juicy red fruits, discreet floral hints, finely sappy, touches of toasted/cocoa nibs and hints of fresh infusion in the background. Good length. The tannins are racy, frank, precise and finely mellow.
