(Cru classé) The nose is fresh, elegant and aromatic, with good definition, a certain complexity and a lovely, elegant darkness. It reveals notes of small wild blue berries, ripe wild cherry and, more lightly, small fairly ripe, juicy fruits, associated with touches of cornflower, lily, as well as fine hints of bergamot, toast and dark chocolate. There are also hints of spice, a beautiful finesse of grain, complexity and elegance. The palate is well-built, with juiciness, freshness, elegance and gourmandise. It offers lovely definition, energy, a tangy frame, a mellow, voluptuous side, with a certain concentration/intensity. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright cornflower, bright blue plum, combined with touches of bright redcurrant, as well as hints of blue berry, toast, toasted almond and chocolate. A well-built wine, gourmand, fresh and juicy. A little elegant austerity and a hint of warm sap in the background. Darkness and elegance, freshness, brilliance and juiciness. A wine beautifully marked by Cabernet Franc, silky and brilliant.
