Château Rolland-Maillet 2024 – Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity, it offers a fine concentration of fruit, a certain depth and a hint of elegant austerity. It reveals notes of blackberry, lilac and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of small bright berries, as well as a hint of plum blossom. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, it offers a fresh frame, beautiful freshness, a fine, chiselled side and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, violet and small notes of pulpy cassis, combined with touches of crunchy cherry, as well as floral hints and tonka bean. Good length. The tannins are precise and mellow. A hint of chocolate in the background.
