The nose is spicy, aromatic, it offers a certain complexity, fullness and an airy side in its relatively intense power. It reveals notes of chocolate, blackberry and small notes of fairly ripe cherry, associated with touches of violet, infusion, small red fruits flirting with elegant roast, as well as hints of cornflower and star anise. The palate is well-built, supple, delicate, fresh, mineral and airy. It also presents acidity, juiciness, gourmandise, harmony, purity, plenitude and a fine, chiseled side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/brilliant cassis, blueberry, and small notes of roasted-juicy red cherry, combined with touches of small bright red fruits, as well as hints of star anise, toasted, and a hint of toasted hazelnut. A subtle touch of coffee in the background. Good persistence.
