The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers aromatic depth, spices and a certain airy velvetiness. There are notes of blackberry, nutmeg and small notes of violet, associated with touches of incense, pulpy red cherry, fine hints of small brilliant fruits, as well as discreet hints of spices, red pepper and a subtle, almost aniseed-like hint (in the background). The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, fine, elegant, taut and offers minerality, a lovely brilliance of fruit, energy, gourmandise, a delicate touch, unctuosity (in freshness) and a fresh frame. The mid-palate is fresh, fruity and mellow. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy-roasted cherry, small brilliant red fruits and small notes of bright cassis, combined with touches of brilliant raspberry, as well as fine hints of lilac, cornflower, licorice stick, cocoa nibs, toast and toasted almond. A discreet hint of anise, almost eucalyptus, in the background. Finely chalky tannins. Good length.
