Château Haut-Simard – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fresh and offers a certain aromatic power as well as a certain intensity in finesse. There are notes of flowers, spices and small fruits, associated with touches of fresh cassis, as well as fine hints of brilliant cherry, a hint of sappy and discreet hints of lilac. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, a certain pulpiness and brilliance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of brilliant/juicy cherry, juicy/brilliant cassis and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of fresh raspberry, as well as hints of sappy and rose. The tannins are finely sappy.
